Core Fire Series
Investigate and reimagine the core body’s interior and the ways we fan our fire during exercise. Be ready to notice improved ease in neck, shoulder and/or hip tensions, even while increasing challenge and vigor.
Each event costs $45.00 and Paypal invoiced via email.
Classes are scheduled for 9:00-9:55 AM PDT on Zoom.
It’s best to sign up for the entire series as they are progressive and build on the concepts presented in prior workshops.
May 7th – 7.1 The Heavy Stone
Refresh your experience of centering instructions including “scoop” and “pull your stomach in” by changing to an interior perspective. When are these go-to cues helpful? When do they get in the way? Explore the front of your back, the back of your front and the geometry of your diaphragm. Re-lease your live shape shifting center while doing Contrology.
May 14th – 7.2 The Learning Zone
Learn to recognize key kinesthetic feedback while exercising within the Learning Zone. Monitor breath patterns to feel if they are continuous or broken. Uncouple directing the breath from exploring breathing muscles. Explore your internal organs by “wringing them out” and give your abdominals and back muscles refreshment.
May 21st – 7.3 Homeostatic Vigor
Practice and perform exercise sequences making breath important with changing effort levels. Experience Corrective, Progressive and Athletic workout energy without adding complicated or “advanced” exercises while cultivating grace and homeostasis for health Calibrate your fire to improve joy and zest with Contrology.
