Erin grew up a multi-sport athlete and has been coaching athletes for over a decade. She has felt and witnessed the incredible benefits that Pilates can have on both sport performance and daily functioning. Teaching Pilates bridges her love of movement with her love for working with people.
I’ve practiced classical Pilates for over 20 years, and it’s the foundational movement practice supporting all of my endurance sport endeavors (including parenthood!). I love the classical Pilates system because of its ability to balance and develop the whole body. The work continually challenges and progresses you in such a way that both your practice and your body constantly evolve. And most importantly, Pilates is fun. I love working with my clients to explore their movement patterns and achieve their goals. Pilates is a team sport!
Erin is a Pennsylvania transplant who earned her undergraduate degree from Smith College and Masters Degrees in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Washington. She completed the comprehensive teacher training program at Atlas Pilates in 2018 and has been teaching here ever since.
Erin is also a mom to two young boys who keep me running around, low to the ground and moving in novel ways! She has lived through the profound changes that accompany motherhood and is happy to help any mom through the journey to reconnect with her body postpartum. Atlas Pilates is thrilled to have her on staff after she powered through our comprehensive teacher training program.
